The Alabama State Department of Education's (ALSDE) statewide Mental Health Telecounseling (TMH) Pilot Project aims to expand access to mental health services for both students and school district employees through secure telehealth technology. The project is funded through appropriations from the Governor and Alabama Legislature and is designed to address barriers that often prevent individuals from receiving traditional in-person counseling services.
